Counting-out rhymes

One, two, three, four

Jane is sitting at the door.

Five, six, seven, eight

Eating cherries off the plate.

One, one, one - little dogs run.
Two, two, two - cats see you.
Three, three, three - birds in the tree.
Four, four, four - rats on the floor.

Monday’s child is nice and slow.

Tuesday’s child is go, go, go.

Wednesday’s child is very funny.

Thursday’s child is happy and sunny.

Friday’s child is like a king.

Saturday’s child can dance and sing.

Sunday’s child can stand on her head

And count the ghosts under the bed.

Eeny, meeny, miny

Eeny, meeny, miny, moe;

Catch a tiger by the toe,

If the hollers let him go,

Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.

Out goes one,out goes two,

Out goes another one

And that is just you.

One, one, one

One, one, one,

Little Jim, run!

Two, two, two,

Run after Sue!

Three, three, three,

And then – after me!

One, two, three

One, two, three

I am in a big green tree.

One, two, three,

My dog is under the tree.
